Renting kit locally is easy, there are plenty of businesses that provide kit and services for water sports and local trips. Our directory lists those who we are happy doing business with.
We all have views and special requirements when it comes to catering so every proposal can be considered. Roshven is essentially self catering with a little help to make life easier for you. It is normally let with a cook who will expect you to muck in, a housekeeper who will clean the public rooms daily and someone to help with the outdoor activities. If you want to relax totally a much higher level of staffing can easily be arranged. Alternatively visitors can bring their own cook and cater for themselves. Resident staff are always on hand to advise and assist. The Kitchen was designed in collaboration with our favourite chef and features an Aga, a commercial gas cooker and huge fridge and freezer. Utilities include a boot room close to the front entrance, a highly efficient drying room.
Communications: the big house has Vodafone and O2 mobile phone connection in the core (due to a special aerial). The boathouse has neither. Both houses have broadband and satellite television.
